Industries

Market size and price industry by industry

Each card shows the market size according to official statistics (Eurostat, INSEE) — usually the number of businesses in the industry, municipalities for local authorities and holdings for agriculture; “partial” marks a figure that covers only part of the industry — and the price for exporting the whole industry. The records in our database are not yet assigned to industries; the quote confirms the size available per industry. Selections by region, department or your own filters are quoted on request.

How you get your export

  1. Test the file structure

Download the free CSV sample file with 30 fictitious businesses and check the columns in Excel.

  2. Agree the export

Name the industry, region or department, the fields you need and what you will use the data for. The quote confirms the records available, the date of the data and the full price.

  3. Import the file

You receive the agreed export as CSV, or XLSX or JSON on request, for your CRM, your campaign or your analysis.

Not every business has every contact field. Coverage and data freshness · sources and methodology. B2B prospecting by email or phone follows the CNIL rules: an offer related to the recipient’s profession, an unsubscribe link and respect for objections.

Markets

Focused on France, other EU countries on request

Our focus is France with 21 industries. We compile company data from other EU countries on request.

Sources: our own database, Eurostat, INSEE; figures and methodology on the database status page and in the methodology.

Data sources

Where the data comes from

INSEE’s Sirene database is open, but it contains no phone numbers, email addresses or websites. Our records therefore combine open map data with the contact details businesses publish themselves; matching with Sirene, which is in progress, will then add identifiers and activity codes.

Data sources and methodology
Overture Maps (processed)

Open map data (mostly under the CDLA Permissive 2.0 licence) with name, address, phone and website of businesses; the source of all 1,577,933 records in the database (as of 4 November 2026).

Company websites (collection ongoing)

Email addresses published on contact pages and legal notices: 786,048 domains visited so far; collection continues and the figures are updated as it progresses.

INSEE Sirene database (matching in progress)

SIREN, SIRET, NAF code and legal form under the Licence Ouverte 2.0. Matching with our records is in progress and not yet included in the published figures.

Official statistics

Figures from Eurostat and INSEE are only used to put the market size into context; they contain no details of individual businesses.

Contact figures refer to all records and overlap. Email addresses shared by three or more records do not count as their own address. Practical guidance

From the file to a usable dataset

Map columns before importing

Compare the 15 documented export fields with your target table. A general CSV file is not a guaranteed direct integration with any particular software.

Keep identifiers as text

Postcodes, phone numbers, SIREN and SIRET are identifiers, not numbers to calculate with. Check data types in the import preview so that leading zeros are kept.

Keep missing values visible

An empty field is not zero and not proof that the information does not exist. It means it is missing from the data provided. Your own verified information should not be overwritten by it.

Handle duplicates carefully

Match on SIRET or SIREN where available. Similar names, a shared website or the same phone number alone do not justify an automatic merge.

FAQ

Questions about the database, format and prospecting

The export of a whole industry costs €229 to €449, depending on the industry, as a one-off full price without a subscription. Selections by region, department or additional filters are quoted individually. The price list shows the industry prices.

On 4 November 2026 it held 1,577,933 records, 1,505,366 of them with phone, email or website. Figures by region are on the database status page. The quote confirms the actual size of your selection.

Choose an industry or name the region, department and required fields in the request form. Before you order, we confirm scope, the date of the data, the full price and the delivery date in writing. A request is not yet an order.

Yes, towards businesses and within the framework set by the CNIL, the French data protection authority: B2B email prospecting can rely on legitimate interest if the offer relates to the recipient’s profession, every message must offer a simple way to unsubscribe, and generic company addresses (contact@, info@) are not subject to these principles. Businesses can object to sales calls. Consumers must have given prior consent; our files only cover businesses. Overview with sources: B2B email and phone prospecting in France.

No. They are business contact details published by the businesses themselves, in Overture Maps’ open map data or on their own websites. Addresses shared by three or more records do not count as their own address and role mailboxes such as dpo@ are left out, but we do not test deliverability or reachability.

Yes. The export and sample file page offers a CSV with 30 entirely fictitious businesses. It is suitable for checking delimiters, accented characters and field mapping. It says nothing about the size or contact quality of a real delivery.

The SIRET for an establishment, the SIREN for the business. They appear in the export once a record has been matched with the Sirene database; matching is in progress. Until then, website and address are hints of a duplicate, not identifiers.

Yes. The standard is a UTF-8 CSV file with semicolons as delimiters that opens in Excel; on request we deliver XLSX or JSON. The export and sample file page shows the columns.

So far, every record comes from Overture Maps, open map data with name, address, phone and website of businesses, supplemented by the email addresses that businesses publish on their own websites (contact pages and legal notices; collection is ongoing). Matching with INSEE’s Sirene database (SIREN, NAF code, legal form) is in progress; units with restricted publication status are not processed. Details for each source: data sources and methodology.

Data about legal persons are not personal data under the GDPR; data about sole traders and named individuals are. We process them on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The information under Art. 14 GDPR is on the data subject rights page, and you can object at any time via the objection page.
