P 85
Vocational training providers, schools, higher education institutions, driving schools, language, music and sports tuition: for publishers of learning platforms, equipment suppliers and companies that buy or resell training.
Our database for France holds 1,577,933 records (as of 4 November 2026); they are not yet assigned to industries. The quote states the size available for this industry.
Export of the whole industry: €319 (full price). Selections by region, department or your own filters are quoted on request.
Official statistics: 243,429 businesses in France according to Eurostat, structural business statistics (sbs_ovw_act) (reference year 2024, data as of 30 September 2026). Section P education (division 85). The figure counts businesses in the structural business statistics, not schools: an operator with several sites counts once, and public institutions are not included. This is the size of the market, not the size of our database.
Start with 85.59A and 85.59B, then the region. Once a record has been matched with Sirene, its SIREN will let you find it in the public list of training providers and read its quality certification.
Our records do not yet carry a NAF code: selecting by activity (NAF subclass) will only be possible for records matched with the Sirene database (matching in progress). The quote states what can be done today: area and required fields.
The official figure for the industry adds up schools, higher education, driving schools and continuing education. It is not the number of providers declared to the regional prefects.
Price of the whole industry: €319. A selection by region, sub-industry or required fields is quoted individually; the whole-industry price is not a price promise for the filtered selection.

Two public lists cover much of the industry, and a specific rule applies to driving schools.
The 15 columns supplied are described on the export page.
A school, a continuing education provider and a driving school do not buy in the same way. First decide whether your offer targets schools, which the education directory already describes, or private providers and specialised schools, which our export presents in the same format as every other industry.
In continuing education and tutoring, some providers are trainers trading as sole proprietors. Their business contact details are personal data: inform them of the source of the data and respect their objection (Articles 14 and 21 GDPR).
The activity declaration number and the quality certification are not columns of the export. The SIREN, available once matched with the Sirene database, lets you find each provider in the public list and read its certification there.
As the publisher of a virtual classroom platform, we are looking for continuing education providers (NAF code 85.59A) and language schools (85.59B) in Île-de-France and Hauts-de-France, with e-mail and website, for an e-mail campaign followed by calls. How many records have a SIREN that allows matching with the public list of training providers?
Use cases
Campaigns aimed at the continuing education providers of a region.
Private schools, training centres and driving schools by département.
Find providers near their sites, then check their certification in the public list.
Gauge the existing offer in a town before opening a branch.

Not yet: our records do not carry a NAF code yet. Once matching with Sirene is done, subclass 85.53Z and the département, derived from the postcode, will make this possible; the quote states how many records are already matched. INSEE classifies driving schools that train professional drivers in 85.32Z: add that code if they are part of your target.
The CNIL accepts e-mail prospecting of professionals without prior consent when the message relates to their profession, with clear information and an easy opt-out in every message. It does not expressly address sole proprietors: in our reading, a trainer contacted at a business address with an offer related to their work falls within this framework, but this remains an interpretation.
